RAINLESS DAY No rain was recorded in Whangarei in the 24 hours to 8 a.m. on Sunday. This was the first fine day in 14. In spite of the stormy conditions and low cloud over the town this morning, the barometer was high at 30.35 in. and the temperature steady at 51deg.
