AUCKLANI A house in Kai fca Street, Takapuna, wa destroyed by fire laff on Saturday night, 'he house was occupied py Mr J. A. Bissett, hi: (wife and four children.! Mr Bissett was absait at the time, but M's Bissett managed to r get the four children to safety. Some fur nit ire was saved. As the Central Fire Station received the call instead of the Takapuna FirC Brigade, some d*lay wis caused, and by the time the engine arrived, at 11.30 o’clock, the flames were through the nof. * * *
