AUCKLAND—An offer to guarantee £IOOO toward the British Empire Games to be held in New Zealand, provided they were held in Auckland was received by the Mayor (Mr J. A. C. Allum) from the Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen s Associate.n yesterday. A hope that other organisations would folsuit was expressed in the letter.
