Srasfi-rucfriora For Fruit- Growers
Home fruit growers were given many valuable tips on the proper method to be adopted in pruning their fruit trees at a public demonstration in Whangarei yesterday. Using the orchard of Mr H. C. Dunn, Whau Valley Road, for his demonstration. Mr P. Everett, orchard instructor of the Agriculture Department, illustrated work necessary on various types of trees. A large crowd attended the demonstration and obtained useful information on pruning, as well as on cultivation, fertilising, grafting and budding.
