Eastern Pressure On Yugoslavia
PRAGUE. Tue. (10 a.m.) —II is reliably learned that Eastern European Governments are considering economic pressure on Yugoslavia. Czechoslovakia is already tightening up controls on trade with Yugoslavia to such an extent that they will amount to sanctions.
A reliable informant said Yugoslavia will have “great difficulty” in securing import permits from Czechoslovakia, and Czechoslovakia would hold up exports to Yugoslavia.
