Whangarei High Wins Three Of Four
The annual sports matches between the Whangarei Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools, and the Dargaville High School were played in Whangare’ yesterday. Whangarei won three of the four the other being drawn. •The Rugby match between a composite Whangarei High team and the Dargaville Ist XV., was productive of excellent football, the back play ir particular, being first-rate. The teams were very evenly matched Whangarei wining 11-9. The boys’ second hockey team beat Dargaville 5-2. The Whangarei girls hockey team won 3-1, and the basketball teams drew 19-all-
