Soviet Forces For Peace Growing Daily
PRAGUE. Sun. <lo.o>—The Bulgarian Prime Minister (M. Dimitrov), giving reasons why there would be no war soon, said peaceful and democratic forces were united under the Soviet Union and growing daily. He did not believe American. British or Western European workers could “again agree to give blood in Imperialists' interests.” He considered that there was no question which could not be solved peacefully under the terms of the Teheran, Yalta and Potsdam agreements.
** The Northland Players presented Noel Coward’s “Hay Fever” at Kerikeri on Thursday. In spite of the bad weather the attendance was large and the audience most appreciative.
