The work of discharging the Cape York’s phosphate cargo continued at Kioreroa, Whangarei, this morning, a total of 45 men being employed on three holds.

Rain caused a slight interruption this morning, and on present indications it appears that a further two days will elapse before the discharge of the cargo can be completed^ At the Town Wharf this morning the unloading of the Northern Steamship Company’s motor vessel Ranginui was hampered by unfavourable weather combined With a ladk of labour.

One gang of nine men,, including two unionists, was available, whereas 23 men are normally required for her discharge.
