At the March meeting the treasurer gave a report on the financial position of the parcels for Britain fund and the number of parcels sent during the year. Mesdames Jones, Lindsay and King each received birthday sprays. Mrs Anderson was elected president for a further term, with Mrs Bramley vicepresident. Mrs Lupton was elected secretary, and Mrs Thompson treasurer for the parcels fund. Mrs King won the competition. The points competition—smocking, a demonstration of which was given the previous month —resulted: Mrs Jones 1, Mrs McCallum 2.
Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Thompson and Lorimer.
