Mid-NorS-hem Tennis Finals And Reps.
In order to finalise the Mid-North-ern Tennis Sub-association’s competitions, a match has been arranged between Tapuhi and Opuawhanga, winners of the Western and Eastern zones respectively. The match will be held next Saturday at Tapuhi. Whichever team wins will be holder ,of the Benjamin Cup until next season. EAST v. WEST Western zone representatives will meet a team in a friendly match from the Eastern zone of the Mid-Northern Tennis Sub-association on March 20. The Western team selected is:— Men: J. Davis (Whakapara), J. Hedley (Tapuhi), A. Drake (Riponui), A. Harris (Riponui), F. Bush (Tapuhi), W. Berghan (Whakapara). Emergency, B. Bain (Waiotu). Women: Mesdames A. Christie (Riponui), A. Shaw (Waiotu), O. Morgan (Taipuhi), W. Berghan (Whakapara), L. Rusk (Tapuhi), J. Davis (Whakapara). Emergencies, Mesdames Whiteman' and Henwood.
