SAVED
DUNEDIN. * The prompt action of neighbours probably saved the lives of { a former Spitfire pilot, his English wife, and thqir six months old daughter, when fire destroyed their home at Brighton yesterday. Neighbours w ere aroused by the blaze and 5 broke .into the house to warn the sleepers, Mr and Mrs A. T. Condon and their baby. Mr Condon had barely time to snatch up the baby and pass it out to a neighbour . before the whole house became an inferno.— fP.A.) * * *
