AUCKLAND.—A writ alleging libel was served on the Mayor of Auckland (Mr Allum) yesterday by, the president of thefAuckland and Suburban Drainage League (Mr D. M. Robinson).
The plaiAiff claims £5Ol general damages, costs incideilal to the action, and guch other relief as theicourt may think just. 1 The claim frises from the publication on November 18, 1947, of a statement Allum criticising a circular issued by the league. , * »
