WELLINGTON. As a result of a graceful gesture by the Government of the Dutch overseas territories at Batavia, flowers from the most beautiful nurseries in Europe will bloom around Parliament Building and parks of Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill. The gift is in recognition of the hospitality shown to war evacuees from Java by the New Zealand Government and public.
