Chamber Of Commerce Broadcasting Station Plans
Whangarei is to have a broadcasting station in the near future. Plans and specifications for temporary premises to house the equipment already stored in Whangarei are nearing completion.
Tenders for constructing the building will be called, and the opening date will be in accordance with the completion of the contract. This intimation was contained in a letter received by the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce from the Minister of Broadcasting and presented at the executive meeting of the chamber last night.
