CTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whangarei lorough Council, held on Wednesday, he 25th day of February, 1948, the ollowing resolution was passed, and t will be submitted for confirmation it the ordinary meeting of the Counil, to be held on Tuesday, the 6th day f April, 1948, at 7.30 p.m. at the Council Chambers, Bank Street — RESOLUTION: | That in pursuance and in exercise I of the powers conferred by the Local j Bodies Loans Act. 1926, the Local Gov- ! ernment Loans Board Act. 1926, the I Whangarei Airport Act, 1937. and all ! other powers and authorities there- ! unto enabling it, the Whangarei Bori ough Council doth hereby resolve, by I way of Special Order, to raise a j special loan of £5300, to be known as “Whangarei Airport Repayment Loan, I 1947.’’ for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in I respect of “The Whangarei Airport I Loan, 1937,” of £12.000: and doth hereby determine as follows: I 1. The term for which the said loan i or any part thereof may be raised j shall be twenty (20) years, j 2. The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3/5/-) per centum per annum. 3. The said loan or any part thereof shall be repaid by the annual reI demption of debentures varying I from £IOO to £4OO but sufficient in total to repay the loan within the term specified. 4. The payment of interest and redemptions in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand. 5. No amount payable either as interest or as a redemption in respect of the said loan shall be paid out ! of loan-moneys. 6. The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised. 7.
