Dargaville Shield Match
Play in the Dargaville Shield cricket match between Whangarei and Mangonui, at Kensington Park on Friday and Saturday, commences each day at 10 o'clock. The Whangarei association, at its weekly meeting last night, appointed,, Mr P. Mason as umpire for the first day and Mr W. W. Burns for Saturday. Whangarei players are to assemble at the park at 9 o'clock. Junior championship games to be played on Saturday are:
Old Boys v. High School, at High School No. 1; Albion v. Combined Services, at Kensington (Mr E. L. Whimp).
The senior match between Central and City, which commenced last Saturday, is to be concluded at Kensington.
