Sheep In Demand At Westfield Sale
AUCKLAND. Thu. tSp.)—With fewer sheep penned values were better than last week at Westfield yesterday. There was a steady demand with unchanged prices for beef and lambs There was a good yarding ol' calves, prime vealers selling freely, while values for runners were lower than at recent sales. With more pigs coming forward the prices for pork eased considerably. Bacon was firm. A small yarding of stores sold at late rates.
