A CTING under authority conferred hy Section 11 of the above Act, the Otamatea County Council has appointed Mr. A. W. Tassell, County Engineer, as Chief Fire Officer for the County and has further appointed J. A. Parry and R. Paul as Fire Officers for the Tinopai Forest area, together with all adjoining lands. Messrs. James Beattie and Richard Clendon are appointed Fire Officers for the Topuni Forest area and adjoining lands.
