Overhead Bridge At Te Hana
Though the contract for the construction of the Te Hana overhead bridge expires on April 30, work has proceeded only as far as casting the piles, and it is doubtful if the brdge will be completed in the set time. The site is a difficult one, set in unstable country, with the ever-present danger of a slip. The completed bridge v/ill have one 45ft and four 30ft spans, being constructed of reinforced concrete, with a light type cf pier. Between the wheel guards, the width of the deck will be 24ft.
