Russian Ship Safe; Passengers Taken Off
TOKIO, Sun.—All the 780 passengers from the Russian motor vessel Dvina were transferred today to a number of Russian vessels standing by. The Dvina, which has been in distress off the north-east coast of Japan, is now under tow to an undisclosed destination. A Russian destroyer yesterday succeeded in getting a line aboard the Dvina. . Pumps were quickly installed by tne rescue party. The Dvina is now in calm seas ana her position is described as completely satisfactory.
