Gisborne Wool For Auckland, Napier

GISBORNE, Fri. (Sp.).—'The wool originally Intended for the Gisborne sale, which was boycotted by buyers, will now be sold at Auckland and Napier. The Wool Disposal Commission has arranged for the auctioning of the Gisborne and East Coast, clips by extending the catalogue limits at Napier and Auckland. The allocated roster quantity of 25.000 bales of Hawkes Bay wools will be catalogued at Napier on March 12 and on March 15 an additional catalogue of 17,000 bales of Gisborne and East Coast wools will be offered there. This allocation of 17,000 bales will be filled by wool in store at Gisborne and Napier on December 20 and provision will be made for space for ail wool that was entered for the Gisborne sale on December 5 and which the owners now desire to sell at Napier. The catalogue for the Auckland sale on March 8 has been extended by 5000 bales to accommodate any Gisborne clips. Wool is already coming forward to fill this space. The balance of Gisborne and East Coast wools, estimated at from 5000 to 6000 bales, can be accommodated at the Napier sale on May 3 and May 6.
