NEW YORK, Thur. (11 a.m.) The racing newspaper Morning Telegraph's Los Angeles correspondent says repreentatives of foreign patrons eager to acquire sons and daughters of the great stallion Beau Pere will be among those bidding for Louis B. Mayer’s two-year-olds when they are sold at auction on Monday night. Breeders in Australia and New Zealand are reported to be especially eager to obtain stock sired by Beau Pere.
Governor Of Trieste ROME, Thu. (10 a.m.).— The Italian Foreign Minister said Italy had suggested that “a man of the British Empire" be chosen as governor of Trieste. The Italian Government awaited. Yugoslavia’s reply.
