MINISTER
WELLINGTON.—The Rev. W. Purves-Boyes. who was moderator of the Presbyterian Church in England in 1946-47, has arrived at Wellington in the'Empire Star. He will represent the Church in England at the centennial synod of Otago and Southland, to be held next March. Mr Purves-Boyes, who is making his first visit to New Zealand, has now retired from the ministry. * * *
