Will Cooperate In U.S. Of Indonesia
BATAVIA. Wed. (11 a.m.)—The Republican Premier (Sjarifuddin) tonight confirmed reports from Jogjakarta that the Republican Government had stated officially that it was prepared to take part in a democratic sovereign United States of Indonesia.
The statement was made in reply to 10 non-Rcpubliean territories of the archipelago, which on Sunday invited the Republic to participate in the interim Federal Government, which the territories asked the Dutch Premier (M. BeeP to form in preparation for a United States of Indonesia.
