Bridal Party Ail Ex-Prisoners
MELBOURNE.—AII members of the bridal parly at a wedding at East Brighton were former prisoners of war. The bride was Wilma Elizabeth Oran, one of tlie group of Australian nurses captured by the Japanese in Sumatra, and her bridesmaid was Miss Vivian Bullwinkle. only survivor of the Banca Island massacre of Australian nurses. The bridegroom. Mr Alan Young, of East Brighton, and his best man. Mr John Nicholson, were prisoners in Italy and Germany. Former prisoner-of-war nurses attended the wedding ceremony.
