Gisborne Patient Still Suspect
GISBORNE, Thu. (P.A.)—'The condition of the Gisborne patient admitted to hospital on Saturday with symptoms of poliomyelitis is reported to be improving.
Officially, the case is regarded as a suspect only, and Health Department officers conclude from the fact that no paralysis has occurred that it may never move out of the suspect category.
The Health Department has received no report from the hospital superintendent which justifies the patient being regarded as other than suspect.
