The second Whangarei Sanders Cup trial sailed at the • week-end was a wash-out.

Wilkinson’s Davina actually crossed the line after 4J hours followed by E. Ryan’s Mercury two and a half minutes later with G. Palmer’s Airies another two and a half minutes further back. The race was held on the Parua Bay course and it was quite common to sec one contestant with spinnaker set and another not far distant on a dead slog. j Another trial is to be held on the Onerahi course next week-end.
