ROTORUA

ROTORUA: A Roto-rua-Wellington direct road service will be started by the New Zealand Railway Road Services on December 8.

The service will operate three days a week. Only the Rotorua-Tai-hape section cfdhe service is new, as buses have been running direct from Wellington to Taihape for some time. The through journey will occupy about 12 hours. The route is through Taupo, Turangi, Waiouru, Taihape, Bulls and Levin. —(Sp.)
