LONDON, Fri. (10 a.m.)—A Scotsman, Walter Donaldson, succeeded Joe Davis as the world professional snooker champion by gaining a winning margin of 73 frames to 49 in play today with Fred Davis,: brother of the retiring champion, at Leicester Square Hall. .
