To Consider 40-Hour Week In Police Court
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Included in subjects for discussion at the annual conference of the New Zealand Police Association opening in Wellington on Tuesday is the possibility of working a 40-hour week in the police force and its effect on Recruiting.
One remit deals with a proposal for an improved style of uniform and also a lighter uniform for summer wear.
A complete new draft of the police regulations is_ to be issued under the recently-passed Police Force Act.
