Big Gaming Raid Brings 33 Arrests
(Special) AUCKLAND, This Day. Thirty-three Chinese were arrested yesterday afternoon in one of the biggest raids in recent years when 12 detectives and members of the uniform branch visited four premises in Grey’s Avenue. The Chinese were gathered around gaming tables on which about £BOO was found. They were later remanded to appear on Monday.
