On his way to Australia to attend a conference of the Methodist Church, the Crown Prince of Tonga (Prince Tungi) may visit Auckland next month. His Royal Highness, who is heir to the throne of the small Pacific Kingdom, is the eldest son of Queen Salote, a graduate in law of Sydney University, and holds the portfolios of health and education in the Tongan Cabinet.
The Bishop of Central Tanganyika (the Rev. W. Wynn Jones) arrived in I'lew Zealand yesterday and will spend a month here discussing work in his diocese. The staff of the diocese is chiefly drawn from Australia and New Zealand.
