PUBLIC NOTICES DRESSMAKING LADIES MAIDS CHILDREN Write EFFICIENCY, Advocate. 246 BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD RETICULATION EXTENSION LOAN (No. 3). 1947 —£60.000 PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN ■pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given A that the BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. and the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder resectively, proposes at its meeting to be held on the 30th day of September, 1947, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of Sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) for the term of Twenty (20) years at interest rate not exceeding three and one quarter (3 : j) per centum per annum for the purpose of providing additional monies for the further reticulation of the Bay of Islands Electric Power District. For the purpose of securing the payment of the interest and principal of the said special loan, a special annually recurring rate of three fifths (3/5) of one penny in the £ will be made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Bay of Islands Electric Power District (comprising the Counties of Bay of Islands, Hokianga, Mangonui, Whangaroa. and the Boroughs of Kaikohe and Kaitaia). Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
