To Take Command At Ohakea Drome
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. With a distinguished record in civil and war aviation, Group Captain A. E. Clouston, D.S.C., D.F.C., A.F.C. and bar, arrived by the Athenic today with his wife and two daughters. He will be two years here on exchange from the Royal Air Force and is expected to assume command of the air force station at Ohakea. Referring to his experiences when in command of a station from which New Zealand and Australian Beaufighters operated, he said: ■ “Their fighting spirit was second to none. Heavy losses did not deter them.”
