(P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Facilities similar to those at Rongotai would be provided for passengers fit Paraparaumu airport and it was hoped that most of the necessary work would be completed when the changeover to Paraparaumu was made on September 27 said the Minister in charge of Civil Aviation (Mr Jones) today. He was referring to criticism made by the Mayor of Auckland/ (Mr Allum) of lack of facilities at the new airport. Mr Jones said the National Airways Corporation was at present investigating the transport situation and planning for the handling of increased passenger traffic between Wellington and Paraparaumu which was anticipated when the transfer was carried out.
