C.J.C. inquiry
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Arising from certain allegations made to a racing official, the judicial committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club opened an inquiry during the last Grand National meeting into the ownership of Lorna Leigh. The inquiry was adjourned. It has now been found that Lorna Leigh is held on lease by Mr C. Holdsworth, a joint interest with the owner having been properly registered under the rules of racing. It has also been found that no person, other than the owner, who receives a percentage of stakes won. and Mr Hoidsworth has any interest in the ownership or running of Lorn Leigh.
