Refresher Course For Teacher-Off seers
(Special» AUCKLAND. This Day. Officers from school cadet units from Kaikohe to Tc Awamulu engaged in a refresher course of instruction at Papakura Military Camp, were visited yesterday by Brigadier R. S. Park, Officer Commanding the Northern Military District.
All secondary school teachers, the majority of whom served in one or both world wars. the cadet officers have reached a high standard of efficiency which will be reflected in the cadet competition beginning in September.
Containing several films on the technique of military instruction and fieldcraft. the training schedule is entirely modern. These films provide a valuable standby during wet weather when outside training is not possible. The course, which will end on Monday. is being taken by 32 officers.
