Woman Run Over By Bus, Dies
(P.A.) ROTORUA, This Day A fatal accident occurred at the Road Services bus terminal in Hinemoa Street at 7.30 o’clock last evening when a woman was run over by a bus. She died almost immediately. She was: Mrs Isabella Dobbs, 48, wife of Mr S. J. Dobbs, Ngongotaha. Mrs Dobbs, with her husband and daughter had come to town in their car which was parked only a few yaidt away. She crossed the road on an errand and apparently was making her way back to the car when she was run over by the bus driven by Mr R. E Leaning. Tire bus was being backed on the roadway preparatory to taking its place on the kerb.
