IN THE HOUSE YESTERDAY
Three bills were presented: The Dairy Marketing Commission Bill, which gives effect to an agreement between the Government and the dairy industry for the marketing of butter and cheese and the fixing of the guaranteed prices for these products.
The Meat Amendment Bill, dealing with abattoirs and slaugh-ter-houses.
The Food and Drugs Bill, largely a consolidating measure. The number of speakers in the Address-in-Reply has now reached 38.
The House resumed at 2.30 p.m, today.
