Migrants Flying To New Zealand
(Rec. 1.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Five British migrants arrived at Sydney by the Hythe flyingboat on their way to New Zealand. They are Mr and Mrs H. Behennah and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs A. Robson, and their grandson, Clifford, aged six. Mr Robson said he and his father-in-law were both metal trades workers.
They intended to buy a motor car and caravan on arrival in Auckland and to “rough it” until they found a house.
“We decided to go to New Zealand because of the better climate and living conditions than in England,” said Mr Robson.
