Week-End Accident Cases In Hospital
Four accident cases were admitted to the Whangarei Hospital over the week-end.
Mrs Minni Tipene, aged 28, of Pipiwai, fractured her left leg in a fall at her home.
Brian Platt, aged 14, playing for the Kamo fourth-grade Rugby team injured his right lower leg but no bones were broken.
Lloyd Cotton, aged 22, playing for the Mangapai hockey team injured his leg but suffered no broken bones. Beryl Poolman, a child residing with her parents at Whareora fell while playing indoors and broke both bones in "her lower right forearm.
