Close Finishes In Isle Of Man T.T. Race
(R<‘C. 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 13. The Isle ol" Man senior Tourist Trophy race resulted: Harold Daniell, riding a Norton, 82.813 miles per hour, 1; A. J. Bell (Norton), 82.650 mpb, 2; P. Goodman (Velocette), 02.4G3 mph, 3. Lightweight: Dublin’s M. Barrington, riding an Italian Moto Guzzi machine, 73.220 mph, 1; Maurice Cann (Moto Guzzi), 72.972 mph, 2; B. Drinkwater (Excelsior), 70.139 mph, 3. These finishes were the closest for years. Daniell won the senior race from Bell by 22sec. Barrington won the junior event from Cann by 44sec.
