Immediately the news was reported to him he had communicated with the New Zealand Supply Mission in Washington, said Mr Semple, with which he had been in constant touch in search of generating plant. The mission had replied that it had not been able to locate the plant reported to be for sale. A MISUNDERSTANDING? Anything smaller than 25,000 to 30,000 kilowatts w-as not suitable for inclusion in the country r ’s, power system. and would only be a drop in the ocean.
