Mason To Open Kaitaia DHS
(Special) KAITAIA, This Day. At 2 p.m. next Tuesday the Minister of Education (Mr H. G. R. Mason) is to perform the official opening of the new Kaitaia Secondary School in the course of a Far North visit.
He will also officially open the new Parapara Native School on Monday. A reunion of former Parapara pupils is to be held the same evening.
The M.P. for Hobson (Mr S. W. Smith) lias accepted the Kaitaia School Committee’s invitation to attend the high school opening, and an invitation has also been extended to the Member for Northern Maori (Mr T. P. Paikea).
