Yugoslav Property Compensation Claims
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An official announcement was made yesterday that arrangements have been completed whereby the United Kingdom Foreign Office would lend its support in the presentation of claims by British nationals and associations or companies incorporated under British law f s for compensation in respect of property nationalised in Yugoslavia Any person or corporation desiring to prosecute such a claim should supply full details to the Public Trustee, P.O. Box 5024, Wellington, at the earliest possible date, and in any case not later than June 20, 1947. According to information received, it is extremely unlikely that claims submitted after that date could be given consideration by the Anglo-Yugoslav commission which has been set up to deal with this matter.
