Tinned Salmon To Be On Market
A Government purchase of 14,000 cases of tinned salmon, herrings-in-sauce, sardines and pilchards is being landed at Auckland. The fish carrtc from British naval, stores in Australia. Distributions to mercahnts from the Food Controller are not yet completed and it will be some time before supplies will be available to the i ratio. A fair shipment of good quality tea has recently been landed and substantial shipments sufficient to cover New Zealand's requirements for the next .six months are on the water.
