90 Degrees In London
(Rec. 10.0 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. London’s hot spell continues.
The temperature at 4 p.m. was 90 degrees, beating the figure of June 22, 1941, which, at 89 degrees, was the highest since recordings began at the Air Ministry in 1940.
