Young Trampers Lost
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A group of boys from a tramping party organised by the Puriri Baptist Church wandered away from adult members at Butterfly Creek, Eastbourne, yesterday and were bushed. When found, they were too exhausted to return.
A fire was lit and hot drinks and food were provided.
The boys and rescuers camped down for the night and the party returned today.
