Successful Show At Wellsford
(Special) WELLSFORD. This Day. The Wellsford A. & P. Society's 27th annual show was held on Saturday. The special event of the show was a competition conducted on behalf of the Rodney and Waitemata Young Farmers' Clubs. Ton teams, from Kaukapakapa. Wellsford, Warkworth, and Matakana competed. The winner was Kaukapakapa C. Kaukapakapa B was second and Matakana A third. Championship awards were:— Horses. —Draught: G. W. Henson. Hack: Miss V. Clotworthv. Hunter: E. Childs. Cattle.—Jersey bull: A. Perry and Sons; reserve, C. Draper. Cow: D. Ball; reserve, A. & E. W r orthington. Friesian bull: A. S. Davies. Cow: R. S. Biddle. Milking Shorthorn bull: T. A. Clayden. Cow: H. Neal. j Sheep.—Romney Ram: I. D. Greenwood. Ewe: G. & P. Levet. Southdown ram: R. P. Gubb. Ewe: I. MeCarroll.
