City Tennis Stars To Visit Parakao
A team of Auckland tennis players, including such leading lights as E. D. B. Lusk and E. W. Pountney and Misses E. Attwood. V. Johnson and H. Redwood, is playing at Parakao next Saturday.
The visit has been arranged by Mr Ken Hayr, well-known tennis official and player in Auckland, who was a school teacher in the Mangakahia a few years ago. Mr Hayr was Northland singles champion for some time and has competed in many major tournaments in the south.
Leading Whangarei players in R. Mullins and J. Burch and Misses M. Finlayson and B. Birchall will be taking part in the Parakao tournament against the Aucklanders.
